At YouGarden, we believe that gardening and sustainability go hand in hand. As plant lovers, we understand the importance of protecting our natural world and ensuring that our growing practices have a positive impact on the environment. That’s why we’re constantly taking steps to reduce waste, conserve resources, and nurture biodiversity - all while continuing to provide gardeners with top-quality plants and products.

From building a reservoir at our nursery to harvest rainwater and reduce water waste, to investing in electric lifting vehicles to cut carbon emissions, we’re committed to finding smarter, greener solutions.

In 2018 we built a reservoir on the nursery site to collect rainwater.

This reservoir holds 480,000 litres of rainwater.

Every Drop Counts - we re-use the collected rainwater to water our plants. Each year we save 10,312,000 litres of water.

All our lifting vehicles are now fully electric.

We have never used neonicotinoids, instead, we use a combination of herbicides and natural predators.

Ladybird larvae minimise the impact of aphids.

We are proud to say that 100% of our packaging is recyclable.

That's right, all of our primary and secondary packaging - cardboards, blisters, and bags are 100% recyclable.
