You may have heard in recent news that a courier company related to Evri has gone into liquidation. Please note that some of the new stories have misleading headlines. Evri has not gone into liquidation - it is a separate delivery firm who Evri, as well as other couriers, worked with called Pedal and Post.
Pedal and Post ceased operations back in January. EVRi had been given no prior warning of this. They were a partner of Evri's who they used to deliver in the clean air zones in parts of Oxford. Various carriers used them, not just EVRI. The disruption was minimal and contained to a very small area.
Please see below statement from Evri:
"We’re currently reviewing the latest media reporting on the story and contacting outlets to ensure articles are factually correct and balanced in terms of Evri’s role within the story. We successfully deliver more than 900 million parcels each year, with industry-leading on-time delivery rates. We were disappointed to learn that our e-cargo bike delivery partner, Pedal and Post, ceased trading without notice, which caused some temporary disruption for a small number of customers in the local area. We have quickly re-organised deliveries in the area, and our local team are resuming normal service.”
To summarise, there should be no disruption to the delivery of your YouGarden parcels besides any usual delivery issues that can occur from time to time.
