Offer codes

Offer codes (also called Media Codes or Promo Codes) give you access to special prices and promotions but there are a few rules to follow so you don’t miss out.

“The offer code does not exist or has expired”

If you see this message, it could be because:

• You’re entering the offer code in the wrong box. Offer codes have their own box at checkout with the heading ‘Do you have an offer code?’. On mobile, you may need to scroll down to see it.

• There’s a typing error. Check for mix-ups like O (letter O) vs 0 (zero), or S vs 5. Also remove any spaces before or after the code.
• The code is out of date. If it’s from an old email, magazine, or advert, it may no longer be valid.
• Code does not apply to items in the basket. Offer codes are usually specific to certain items so if you haven’t added the correct items to the basket, then the offer code will not work. Check the item/product codes match with the ones mentioned in the advert where you found the offer code.
• It’s our mistake. If you’ve checked everything and the code should work, please contact us so we can sort it out.

How offer codes work

We run promotions across emails, magazines, newspapers, and online adverts.

• Some offers apply automatically (e.g. by clicking through from an email or direct link in an advert).
• Others need you to manually enter the code in the Offer Code box at checkout or quote it over the phone.
• Only one offer code can be used per order. Adding another code will overwrite the previous one.
• Avoid navigating to cashback or third-party deal sites mid-shop - they can replace your code with theirs.
• Double-check your basket before checkout to ensure the correct code is applied.
• Offer codes giving a percentage discount apply only to living products such as plants, bulbs, shrubs, and trees.

Email offer codes not working

• Clicking through from an email usually adds the code automatically.
• If it’s a percentage discount, the reduced prices appear on product pages automatically - no need to add the code manually.
• Adding another code will overwrite your email offer code.
• Cashback sites are not compatible with our email-exclusive offers.
